Special emphasis is places on areas in construction that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. You are also briefed on basic instructional approaches, improving compliance communication, and training at the work site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Topics Include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act, & Introduction to OSHA Standards\n<li>Fall Protection\n<li>Electrocution\n<li>Struck-By\n<li>Caught-In or Between\n<li>Personal Protective Equipment\n<li>Health Hazards in Construction\n<li>Electrical\n<li>Material Handling\n<li>Hazard Communication\n<li>Ladders and Stairs\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR<\/strong><br \/>\nRobert Albrecht, previous Compliance Officer III for Maryland Occupational Safety and Health with over 27 years of experience in large and small scale environmental projects will lead this program with <i>activities and real world experiences<\/i>. Robert has successfully managed large scale construction projects, hazardous material spills, terror events and other emergency.
